Talking in her sleep?
About 2 hours after Natalie went to bed tonight, Nate and I heard her very clearly say the following: "I don't want to go. I don't want to go. I want to paint." I went in her room a few minutes later since she was still whimpering a little bit. She was sitting up in bed. At this point, I attempted to talk to her to see if she was actually awake. I couldn't tell because when she laid back down, her eyes were closed. Now I want to know if she is just like both of us because we both talk in our sleep.

let it snow, let it snow, make it stop!
We got hammered with snow over the last 2 days here in southeastern Wisconsin. I went out to clear our driveway and sidewalk and then helped the neighbor across the street who's blower broke a belt. Later on after we had played for a while, we walked down by another neighbor's place (the girls who Natty plays with). It looked like their blower was dead too so I helped them clear their snow too. It was wet heavy snow that wasn't treating the smaller snowblowers well at all. Anyway...on to the playing story. Natalie came out with me while Lynn finished some things in the house. Natty and I built snow forts in preparation for a big family snowball fight later on. When Lynn came out, we went out front and built a couple of snowmen. One big one (a snow woman according to Natalie) and a small one. We then went in back and occupied our forts. We bombed each other for about 40 minutes. We then decided to go for a walk down the block which was when we saw our neighbors having problems. I went up to the door to ask if they needed help and invited their girls out to play with Natalie. After clearing their snow we came back to our place and the 2 little girls had fun hiding in the fort I built earlier.

A message typed by Daddy as dictated by Natalie:
I went poop on the potty! And I went tinkle on the potty! I got M&Ms and stars.

Dinner Etiquette
Natalie has been trying my patience at the dinner table recently. In reality, she is just being a 2-year-old and being goofy at meal times...but it still gets to me. Last evening, she was playing with one of her dolls. This doll happened to be in her high chair. Nate and I were sitting on the couch, and as she took her doll out of the high chair, we heard Natalie tell it in a stern voice, "You are done now because you were playing with your food." It is funny to hear yourself through your child. :)
We've had a fun week...minus the annoying behavior at meal times and early mornings. Thursday, Natalie and I checked out the Mitchell Park Domes. She enjoyed the dome that had the trains and the dessert dome, but the tropical dome wasn't fun...either because of the mist or maybe the birds flying around. The two of us went to the Divine Redeemer basketball tournament Thursday evening and had a good time cheering on the Eagles.
Today, Natalie had fun singing while she was "playing" Mr. Atkinson's guitar. We had a good time at Brookfield Square Mall where there was an education and camp exhibit. The teachers at the J K Lee Tae Kwon Do exhibit showed Natalie how to punch a training pad. Afterwards, she was able to break a board on her second attempt. We are so proud of her. :) She also got a cool soccer ball whistle after shooting a goal at the Milwaukee Wave exhibit.
This evening, we all had a nice time with Auntie Barbie, Uncle Steve, and cousins Sarah and Chris. Tomorrow, we are looking forward to church and then later making pizzas with Joe and Michelle.

Super Bowl Sunday
Saturday morning, we went down to Delavan to watch our 7-year-old nephew play basketball. Natalie had fun playing with her cousins again this weekend. A funny exchange between Natalie and her cousin Ella, who is the same age, occurred on Saturday. We were talking about today's game, and Ella said "Go Bears." Natalie told her "No. Don't say that. Go Packers!" What a true little Packer fan!
